For Thin/Slim Business Cards, please build your print-ready digital files by adding 0.25″ bleed to each dimension (or 0.125″ bleed on all four sides). For example, a 1.5″ x 3.5″ thin/slim card with the full bleed should be 1.75″ x 3.75″. Please design your files with our templates to ensure proper bleed.

Resolution:

All file formats must have a minimum of 300 dpi (dot per inch) resolution at 100% of the final print size.
Images designed for the web typically cannot be used for printing as they have a low screen resolution of 72 dpi.

Print images need to be created at 300 dpi or there will be a substantial drop in the image quality.

Color Mode:

All color artwork and/or images must be provided in CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) color mode.
All black & white artwork and/or images must be provided in grayscale color mode.

This stock has high color saturation for exquisite contrast and range. Our rich Gloss UV Coating has the highest quality and provides protection against stains and damage. You cannot write or print on products with Gloss UV Coating.

Usually large checks are paper mounted on foamcore board to avoid reflection trouble with flash pictures. We can also laminate presentation checks with a gloss finish plastic, which allows you to write on them with a dry or wet erase marker and use them over again. When taking pictures of a gloss laminated big check, you will want to tilt the big check slightly away from the camera to avoid flash reflections.
